I had such fun…
Love my little Chicks!
I even “sprung” for some Spring fresh flowers just for fun!
April Showers bring May Flowers in the Library Room…
(Have you read the book, The Country Bunny? It’s awesome! I think it may have been written before it’s time, it’s all about a Mom who muli-tasks her way into a brand new career! )
I bought the birdcage for six bucks. It was ugly with dark paint and these weird curly things coming off the top, I snipped off 12 strange curly things and pulled out my trusty spray paint and … Taaa-Daaa!
Remember my cheap spray painted treasures from here?
Sometimes it just takes a tiny little tidbit to bring Spring into a forgotten corner!
The pups can’t really get into this Spring decorating thing but they follow me from room to room in quiet support~
Happy Spring Ya’ll!
I’m so glad you got to have fun with your Spring decorating AND see a few flakes of the white stuff!!! I know it doesn’t last long where you are, but hopefully something is better than nothing 🙂
I’m just wondering if you used the same trash can for the birdcage since it was already marked from the bicycle. And if The Husband is ok with that 😉

My spring sprucing up this week will be more about cleaning and decluttering. I’m hoping to get a few things out of the attic to add some spring color. Snow? I am so over cold weather and ready for warm sunny days. Happy Spring! Blessings, Susan

I have been BUYING spring bouquets and placing them everywhere in the house. It is helping me get through another BIG snowstorm today…I look outside and see MOUNDS of snow, but as I work inside…I see and dream of SPRING!

“Sometimes it just takes a tiny little tidbit to bring Spring into a forgotten corner!” Yes, like the entire corner of the Midwest called Minnesota!!! if you promised me I could achieve spring by decorating, I’d be going to pick my tulips now!
Thanks for the fresh and springy ideas, I will file them away for… oh boy, who knows? Its 12 degrees… such a long ways to go.

Thank you for this lovely decorating lesson! You awaken me to possibilities that I never knew existed. I love your little touches of spring all over the house!
I have fallen into a terrible rut of not decorating all over. My bedroom is SO basic, it is pitiful! I think in seventeen years of marriage I have never had a bedroom done the way I want it to completion. That is not good. Peter Walsh would not be pleased at all, and I’m not even going to talk about what a therapist would ask…
But you keep up these posts, and I’ll break through it without too much heartache. There no less painful way to go through change than through positive inspiration. Your blog is almost always good for some positive inspiration, Robin. Thank you for that!

Thanks for the inspiration. You’re so good at that. Will pull out the Easter Tree tomorrow. That’ll help decorate for Ricky’s 50th. Will put it on the front porch somewhere. Surely the snow will melt by then. 🙂

My favorite thing you have done for years is the blown out eggs you dyed and use. THey are so pretty and I am always amazed someone can do that kind of thing. If I believed in re-incarnation I would want God to give me your toenail of creativity and that would be more than I have now in my entire body.
LOVE IT ALL!!!

My speakers aren’t working currently so I can’t hear your post from today. I’ll have to try back later. In the meantime, I love THIS post with the major spring inspiration!

Your Spring decor is lovely! I would still welcome a big, beautiful snow here in TN, but if there’s no snow to come, I am ready for Spring. The honeybees have been buzzing outside my workroom door and the frogs are singing in the evenings across the road. I do love Spring!
